Korella Border Collies was founded in 1988
with the New Zealand Import "K2" Aust Champion Lochinbrae
of Clan Abby. Before his untimely death at just 4 1/2 years
"K2" was Australia's top winning Border Collie.
He was the first to take out Best Exhibit In Show at both
the New South Wales and Victorian Border Collie Club Specialties.
He was awarded 11 Best in Shows and 11 Runner Best in Shows,
he had amassed over 1500 challenge points and produced 17
champions,
and six of which were Best In Show winners
"K2" has proven to be a most influential sire with
show and breeding stock at Korella being decendents of this
wonderful sire, and particularly the influence of his Granddaughter
Ch Korella Krystal Blue, whose bloodlines are a combination
of the best lines in Australia and New Zealand.
